I've only used this with my smaller dog so far (7kg Jack Russel) and it work's very well. I've adjusted it to its shortest length so it keeps him on one side of the car. Very easy to attach and remove and fits perfectly in the seat belt clip.

I feel he is very safe which inturn makes me more confortable driving as I am not worried about him or trying to watch him all the time. Great product.
