Excellant product
Having had cheaper versions of this type of pet carrier i have to say this is the best one i have had so far. This carrier is very robust and lightweight but also excellant for taking a pet in and out of because you can open the top, open the front and take the whole top of the carrier off which is what i do on a regular basis and its so easy, the four clips just click open and close. In my opinion this is far less stressful than tying to reach in and pull your pet out which i found distressing for me and the pet inside.
I am so pleased i purchased two of these. They also allow lots more air flow having got the opening on the top aswell and you can easily keep an eye on your pet inside.
Unsafe and unreliable
I had this cat carrier - the plastic clips which hold it together are flimsy to say the least. Mine literally broke open whilst transporting my cat to the cattery and he bolted off into some nearby bushes. Luckily we got him back but it was a nightmare scenario. Cattery owner advised me to get something more sturdy which I now have. Please don't trust the side 'locks' on these - they are slack and they do not bolt the carrier together in any reliable way.
