Not fit for purpose
WE have a very energetic dog that loves chasing tennis balls so we bought this product mainly for the distance it should be able to send the ball. It could be that there is knack to using it that I have just not found yet but 200 feet not in your dreams! I can throw it further with a good quality ball thrower. It does pick up the balls quite easily however you do have to position the ball with your hand so you will get covered with slobbers. The balls supplied are not the best quality and are slightly smaller than tennis balls but the machine does use standard tennis balls so this is not a real problem. However given that it is quite a bit heavier than a ball thrower and doesnt propel the ball any further I cant see why anyone would want to use this device. I did not feel it was fit for purpose nor worth the money
