Only tried this on a couple of short walks so far and I have to say I am indeed very impressed. The handle is so comfortable to hold and is soft and warm. I had been using an old chain lead with a leather loop handle, belonging to our previous dog, and this is a massive improvement for walking our 5 month old Staffie X pup. No yank of the leather across your hands when he pulls and no having to grab cold, hard chain when you need to quickly shorten. The stretchable section of the lead not only cushions your arm and hand when the dog pulls but also seems to help in pulling them back to some extent, saving you having to keep doing it quite so much. Yes, he still pulls but on the whole it is a much more comfortable experience than with the old type of lead. Yet to see how it performs over time, wet weather, the dog trying to chew it etc. but first impressions are of a very well designed improvement on traditional leads.
