This is the second one I have purchased. The first is still in excellent order, but the second one was purchased as a donation for animal welfare . We have found it to be excellent on our small dogs. Very easy to use and the dogs do not trouble us. Gives control on amount of heat required and as it is on a stand we can easily keep it as a distance which does not upset the pet. I have seen larger hair dryer used in grooming parlours and often the dogs are very uncomfortable in the strong blast which covers their entire body, and would not be pleasant trying to breathe with hot air blowing directly in your face.
This one is smaller and therefore covers only the part of the body being brushed and dried giving beautiful results. We bath our dogs every week and their coats are shining, fluffy and soft.

This dryer with stand is much better than trying to hold a hairdryer in one hand and a wriggling dog in the other. My dog doesn't much like being blow dried, but this product makes the process much easier. She still doesn't much like it, but this way she's more easily controlled. And bribed with a treat in one had she will sit still in a snow storm.

It was nice to dry my shih-tuz's hair; hands free. As I found holding my standard hairdryer difficult and found that I often needed to lay it down on a stighly higher surface in order to us both hands at times.
So it has been invaluable. The product is easy to assemble, as the stand is separate from the hairdryer it's self with various speeds and heat settings; even a cool one.
The noise from this hairdryer is quieter than the one I previously used for my dog.
