This product is very difficult to fit, even for a skilled well equipped carpenter. It requires two people to install the components in the door, equipped with power drill, saw, some hand tools and probably some additional woodwork if incorporated in any thing except a flat surface door. It is very fiddly to get all the components to stay together while they are assembled in the door.
The product is not brown as suggested. There is a large proportion of white which is fully visible, because the liner between the inside frame and the outside, which is fully visible, is in the wrong colour, ie white. The swing door has a brush around the edge apparently to draught proof. However, there is still a gap between the brush and the frame.
Good quality and easy to fit
As long as you measure the thickness of your door accurately and allow for the included side insert depth, it's an easy fit in 45 minutes . All I have to do now is train Milly as she has no issues going outside but only 50:50 coming back in, I think I may have overdone it with the treats !
