Having spent a small fortune on toys over the past year for my 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier, I saw this in my local pet store and thought it was worth trying. I decided to buy this size rather than the Junior ring, because the larger ring had a tuff scale of 9 while the junior was an 8, and I figured she wouldn't mind the size. I also think it is probably stronger than the junior ring because it's intened for larger dogs, and as everyone knows a Jack Russell is a big dog in a small body. Well she loves it and I'm delighted to say that it has survived over a month now, which is an amazing amount of time for her toys, the record being 10 minutes for one ball,in fact the only toy she's had for longer is her Kong Ball! As it says it is great for tug of war, for throwing frisbee like, and brilliant in the water. I'll definitely be on the look out for others toys in their range.

Ultimate Construction:
each toy is made with 2 layers of industrial grade luggage material and 1 layer of soft fleece on the outside. These layers are sewn together to make one strong layer of material. The ring are sewn together with 2 layers of cross stitching and then 2 layers of linear stitching.

All Tuffy's are rated on an Tuff Scale by the manufacturer. These toys will withstand tugging and fetching games, but won't not be suitable for a dog that likes to chew. These tough SOFT toys are designed for interactive play, tougher than the average soft toy but they are not chew toys nor they are indestructible. No dog toy is.
