Great chew
I had bought the original antlers but my two who love cow hoofs turned their nose up. So when I saw these I thought I would give them a go as being split the tasty middle is already exposed. They loved them, however they did not last very long so potentially very expensive. I had bought the smaller ones in case they didn't like them so will try the bigger ones and hopefully they will last longer than a couple of hours.
Dog is unsure about it.
My dog is used to things he can get through pretty quickly. So when I saw this product I decided to give it a try as we need longer lasting chew things in our home. I un wrapped it and he immediately started to sniff. I held it in front of him and literally he sniffed it for a minute straight before I put it on the floor. He then picked it up in his mouth, ran into the other room where he again sniffed for a few minutes before walking away.
He did eventually commence chewing on it and seemed to enjoy it but about 10 minutes later he moved on to his normal rawhide bone. I'm assuming its because the antler is so tough and he loves to destroy things in 5 mins. I gave this 4 starts because it does seem very tough and long lasting...but I'm not sure my dog will chew it enough so it may turn out to be a waste of money for me. Otherwise a 5 star product!!
