I tried one of these with my Border Collie. It survived only a single outing to the park, the rubber joint between the two rings is very poor.
I've purchased other Kong toys and all have been reasonably tough but this was an extremely poor buy.
A similar tug toy of rubber construction has lasted much longer at less than a third of the cost.
Not good.
I purchased this product as it was a Kong product. Sadly it hasn't lived up to other kong products we have. As said previously the joint isn't very good and lasted about a week. hopefully returning the item, broken, after a weeks use.
Not like other Kongs
I had high hopes for this toy as I have a 10 year old amstaff and 4 month old puppy amstaff at home. One surely too old to destroy a Kong product instantly and one too young. I was at least hoping for a few days or even a few hours of entertainment. It arrived to my office this morning and within 5 minutes it was in 3 pieces. Not too sure about the joint as others are complaining about, but it's chewed through. Kong lets go back to the drawing board for a new design and new compound. Make it thicker and stronger, after all that's the market you are going after. I wouldnt recommend to anyone with a dog larger than a chiwawa.
