I bought 2 of these balls and all I can say is that I wish I never had. They were great to start with, but soon went downhill.
They are effected by damp weather, the light gets dimmer, they are a nightmare to change the batteries inside. They don't tell you how difficult it is to remove the batteries, or that it's even harder to replace them. Trying to get the lid back into the small space it came out of it, takes brute force.
I had to get my dad to do it and even he struggled. Dogs can turn the light off easily when their teeth clamp on to the ball to bring it back. My GSD never attempted to chew the ball.
These balls are a novelty and thats all. Save your money, as they don't last and are never as bright after a battery change or when dampness gets in. You have to remove the batteries each time the ball has been used in damp weather as it dims the light. I wouldn't buy these again.
