I bought this for my Yorkie who has colitis caused by food allergies. He is allergic to a huge amount of everyday food so his diet is very limited. In fact since I gave it to him around 2 hours ago he has been gnawing on it in one of the other dog's beds. He's not daft my Yorkie - make the mess where you don't sleep :0) I've never given him bones before but thought I'd try him. I was worried he wouldn't be interested but he took it and found a spot to eat it immediately. It's great exercise for his teeth and he benefits from the calcium and other minerals in bone.
