We have two retired greyhounds and this food seems to suit them perfectly.
Also we were advised by the rescue centre to feed our hounds on a low protein diet and it has one of the lowest protein contents of any dry dog food we've found although it's slightly confusing as to what the protein level actually is - on the back of the pack it says "Protein: we have deliberately made this food at a slightly lower protein level of 14% etc etc.....", however on Analysis panel on the side of the pack it has Protein at 17%? Still low, compared to most dry dog food.
The dogs seem to enjoy it, it contains glucosamine, fish oils and prebiotics and a donation is made for every pack sold so all in all it's a winner.
The only downside is the consistently poor packaging it arrives in - large cardboard boxes just aren't up to transporting heavy bags of dog food.
Dogs enjoyment
I find this food ideal for my retired racing greyhound as the protein content is just what he needs. He is always waiting for this breakfast and evening meal which was not true of his previous food. He is full of life and his coat is glossier. I shall continue to use this product and recommend it to other greyhound owners
Great Value Food For Greyhounds
Found this food really suits my Greyhound, have always used more expensive dried food before and was a bit apprehensive about changing, but gave it a trial and he loves it. He has had no tummy problems and his overall condition is as good if not better than when he was on the expensive food. Would have liked the choice of a larger bag, but still great value for money.
